Choreography
WEST SIDE STORY
Recreating Jerome Robbins’ iconic choreography for West Side Story was both an incredible honor and one of the most thrilling experiences of my career. His movement vocabulary is timeless—every gesture, every step, and every moment of storytelling through dance is deeply intentional and emotionally charged. To dive into that work and bring it to life with a new generation of performers was profoundly inspiring.
At the same time, as a Latin director and choreographer, it was deeply meaningful to bring my own perspective, energy, and cultural understanding into the room throughout the process. While honoring the brilliance and authenticity of Robbins’ original vision, I was also able to infuse the production with my own heartbeat and connection to the story, allowing these artists to fully live and breathe within it. The experience deepened my love and respect for one of the greatest works in musical theatre history.
Head Over Heels
Head over heels has always been a passion project of mine when I got the opportunity to work on it, I dropped everything and I've never had a more memorable experience putting something together
IN THE HEIGHTS
I am honored to create a version of In The Heights that I feel was such a labor of love. Not only Directing but making the movement tell the story. Rehearsals were exciting, fun, and full of love. I will never get tired of working on In The Heights. Here is a clip of In The Heights at Gateway Playhouse!
Flashdace Musical - Manhunt
I absolutely love choreographing musicals adapted from movies—there’s something magical about bringing stories audiences already love to life on stage. The 1980s, in particular, are right in my wheelhouse; I grew up with that music, that style, that energy, and it’s such a joy to infuse every number with the fun, bold spirit of that era. Flashdance was the perfect canvas to combine nostalgia with fresh, dynamic movement, and I loved every minute of it
